A low-key photographic veil of fine spectral glitter, diagonal diffraction strands and restrained star flares. Replace the source image or video, then tune the photo underlay, trail direction and length, glint density, spectrum and animation. Original procedural Holo rendering; the portrait is a clean, replaceable source, not a baked effect.
How this texture works
Prismatic Veil lays fine spectral glitter and diagonal rainbow trails over your image or video. Photo underlay is at 40, so the picture stays visible but dimmed, and the glitter forms on its highlights. Spectral trails run at an angle across the frame, and a few star flares sit on the brightest points. The glints sparkle slowly by default. It suits low-key portraits where you want texture without hiding the face.
Tips
- Spectral trails, Trail length and Trail angle control the rainbow streaks. Set Spectral trails to 0 for glitter only.
- Photo underlay sets how much of the picture shows. Raise it for a brighter portrait under the veil.
- Density and Grain shape the glitter. Lower Density for scattered sparkles.
- Star flares adds cross-shaped flares. This preset keeps them restrained so they do not compete with the subject.
Questions
How do I add rainbow glitter to a portrait?
Load your portrait into the Image or video slot. The glitter forms on the lit areas, and Photo underlay keeps the face readable. Adjust Density and Spectral trails until the effect sits where you want it.
Can I stop the glitter from animating?
Yes. Set Animate glints to off for a still image, or lower Sparkle rate to slow it down.
