A sculptural liquid-chrome surface in silver, lilac, cyan and rose, overlaid with sparse neon-yellow character columns. Highlights follow your image or video while shadows remain dark. Adjust the surface, tonal response, iridescence, glyph size, color and density. Optional animation is an authored interpretation of a still-image reference.
How this texture works
Liquid Code turns your image or video into a sculpted surface of liquid chrome in silver, lilac, cyan and rose, with sparse columns of neon yellow characters on top. Highlights follow the picture and shadows stay deep black. Photo underlay is at 100, so the shapes of your original picture stay readable inside the chrome. The Chrome section shapes the metal, and the Typography section controls the glyphs.
Tips
- Liquid distortion bends the surface. Raise it for a melted look, lower it to keep the picture's outlines sharp.
- Glyph density sets how many character columns appear. Lower it for a calmer surface.
- Change Glyph color to swap the neon yellow for another accent.
- Spectrum spread controls how many colours the chrome shows. Lower values give plain silver.
Questions
How do I make a liquid chrome effect?
Load your picture into the Image or video slot. The chrome forms along its highlights, so subjects with clear lighting work best. Adjust Surface blend and Fold scale until the metal has the shape you want.
Can I remove the characters and keep only the chrome?
Yes. Set Glyph density to 0 and the character columns are not drawn at all, leaving only the chrome surface.
