Wrap your image or video in a soft opaline veil: silvered contours, fine vertical fibers, iridescent dust and a warm oblique light sweep. Adjust the veil, spectrum, fiber length and texture strength. The default pink peony sample was generated with GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst; replace it with your own media.
How this texture works
Opaline Echo wraps your image or video in a soft pearl veil. Contours turn silvery, fine vertical fibers of light hang across the picture, iridescent dust settles on the highlights and a warm light sweeps through at an angle. Image influence sits near the middle, so your picture shows through the veil without controlling it completely. The Opaline light section shapes the dust and the veil, and the Prism section sets the fibers.
Tips
- Pearl veil controls how milky the overlay is. Lower it to bring back the colours of your picture.
- Fiber length, Fiber angle and Fiber spacing shape the threads of light. Shorter fibers read as rain, longer ones as curtains.
- Prismatic dust and Dust size set how much glitter sits on the highlights.
- Spectrum spread is wide here, which gives the rainbow sheen. Lower it for a single pearl tone.
Questions
How do I make a pearlescent effect on a photo?
Load your picture into the Image or video slot. The veil and dust are applied over it straight away. Use Pearl veil for the strength of the sheen and Image influence for how much the picture shapes it.
Can I use this on a flower or product photo?
Yes. The default sample is a peony, and soft, rounded subjects suit the veil well. Replace it with your own image or video.
