A hero gallery built from two rings of rounded square pictures seen in perspective: eleven on a small inner ring and twenty-two on a wide outer ring, each ring on its own tilted plane and turning the opposite way to the other. Near the edges of the frame a lens takes over, stretching every picture into a streak that points away from the centre and splitting it into red, green and blue, so the gallery dissolves into colour where it meets the page. A depth of field, as through a camera lens, keeps the middle sharp and blurs the cards that swing close to the viewer, and a little those at the back. On load the inner pictures pop in one after another and the outer ones fade in where they stand. Drag, the scroll wheel or the arrow keys spin both rings and they glide to rest; a pause button stops the motion and reduced motion holds it still. Nothing sits over the vortex. It opens with twenty-eight pictures from the HorizonX stock, photos and graphics alternating. Up to thirty pictures, the number on each ring, their size and corner radius, zoom, ring spread, tilt and its direction, which side leans towards the viewer, the spin of each ring, the blur and its focus distance, speed, drag strength, where the lens starts, its strength, the streak length, the colour split and the colours are all editable. The export is one HTML file with the default pictures embedded.
