Motion Trail

The cursor leaves a trail of artwork behind it, each card tilted into the direction of travel.

About this tool

A card is minted every time the pointer covers a set distance, tilted into its heading, held, and then faded out, so an untouched stage stays empty and a fast drag leaves a longer trail. Tune the card geometry, the emission distance and interval, the tilt and the enter/hold/exit timing in a live editor, then export a self-contained HTML file.
