Overview

Edit a profile: photo with preview, name, username with a live availability check and a bio with a counter. It comes from the Settings kit and also works on its own. Keyboard and screen readers: Saving with errors moves focus to the first invalid field; the availability check and save results are announced in polite live regions. The bio counter reads as "N characters left" for screen readers. The save bar is a labelled region that appears only with changes; Discard returns focus to the name field. With reduced motion it appears without sliding. Built with React 19 and TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, Lucide icons and Motion. Light and dark themes come from CSS variables you can edit, and every demo uses believable sample data you replace with your own. Included: the component source, its sample data, light and dark theme variables, a runnable demo page, and setup guides for people and for AI coding agents.
