Overview
Pick several people for a task from a searchable list with avatars; remove one with its chip or everyone at once. It comes from the Kanban kit and also works on its own. Keyboard and screen readers: A combobox with a listbox: type to filter, arrows to move, Enter to toggle a person; selected people are marked. Backspace in the empty field removes the last person; each chip has its own Unassign button with the person's name. The field shows one focus ring around chips and input together. Built with React 19 and TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, Base UI and Lucide icons. Light and dark themes come from CSS variables you can edit, and every demo uses believable sample data you replace with your own. Included: the component source, its sample data, light and dark theme variables, a runnable demo page, and setup guides for people and for AI coding agents.
