Overview
Lumen is a dark AI-assistant dashboard for chat and agent products. The prompt composer is the lamp: rings of warm amber light frame it, and moths, drawn live as ASCII characters on a canvas, circle its rim behind a greeting and a rotating task headline. The moths draw in closer and the light brightens while you type, dart away now and then, steer around the greeting and headline so the text stays clear, scatter from the pointer, and change color and pace with the response mode (Auto, Fast or Think). The headline cycles through seven task lines with a word-by-word blur and holds still while there is text in the composer. A collapsible sidebar holds recent prompts, Explore swaps in new starting points, and the History button opens a command palette with ⌘K or Ctrl K. Pause motion stops the moths and the headline, and the choice is remembered. Reduced motion starts paused, reduced transparency swaps the glass for solid panels, and the palette, drawer and shortcuts sheet keep focus and close with Esc. The layout reflows from desktop down to a phone drawer. The interface ships as one self-contained HTML file with inline CSS, JavaScript and SVG icons. No framework, libraries, package installation or build step is required. This is a frontend template. Prompts stay in the page; it does not include a backend, authentication or a connection to an AI service. Included: index.html, a quick-start, hosting and customization README, AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md for AI coding agents, and third-party credits.
