An invented cartoon head you can grab and pull out of shape with the pointer, made of springy skin that resists, slips free and wobbles back.
About this tool
A cartoon head drawn on a WebGL spring mesh. Grab any part of the face and pull: the skin follows, stiffens the further it stretches, and slips out of your grip when pulled too far, then wobbles back into place. Stretched skin opens into glowing honeycomb cells that close again as it relaxes, colours split with the speed of the pull, a click sends a ripple across the face, and the head tilts a little in 3D as you move. The eyes follow the pointer and blink when you click. A side panel picks one of eight poses (Balloon, Cheek, Stretch, Squash, Cube, Twist, Melt, Grin), sets the brush size, which decides how much skin one grab moves and how far it can go, and switches between dark and light mode. The wheel inflates and pinches, a double click morphs at random, and the keyboard works too: arrows poke the cheeks, plus and minus inflate and pinch, Enter morphs. Left alone, it can morph by itself. It opens on a black stage with a faint drifting honeycomb. Reduced motion stills the background and the idle sway, drops the colour split and stops the morphing on its own. The export is one HTML file with the head inside it.
