Phone in Hand Mockup

A 3D phone mockup held in a hand: your screen in a studio-grey product shot, framed with a long lens.

About this mockup

Phone Mockup's phone, held in a right hand posed in Blender from a rigged arm, in three grips: wrapped round the phone with the thumb up its right edge, held low from behind, or with the thumb across the screen. The hand is a dark, matte silhouette shaded by light baked in Cycles, so it photographs like a hand model's rather than plastic. The shot is a product photograph on a grey studio sweep with a long lens; dragging it orbits round the phone like a studio camera, inside the range the hand reads from, and the lights turn with the view. Drop a screenshot or a screen recording onto the screen, pick the grip and the hand colour, and add background blur, a focus pull on the timeline and a trace of lens fringe if you want them. Same phone, lighting, backdrop and export as Phone Mockup.
