Overview
ALMANAC is an industry design system for product and business analytics websites: product pages for dashboards and reporting tools, metric explainers, pricing pages, plain-language query features and quarterly report decks. It pairs Spectral headlines with an oversized italic phrase and Schibsted Grotesk for interface text, over a quiet Broadsheet / Mist / Ledger Ink token set with a single Apricot wash and Umber ink as the only color. Cards use soft 24px corners, controls are flat pills, shadows are barely there and edges are 1px hairlines. Product surfaces such as tables, line charts, progress rings and an ask-your-data composer float as artifacts around the headline instead of sitting in a dashboard shell. The imagery language has Hero, Material and Detail photo roles built around Orrery, a fictional analytics product, and its Orrery Desk e-paper display. Included: foundations (color, typography, spacing, imagery, patterns), components (buttons, cards, dialog, forms, navigation, feedback, table), theme sheet, Orrery analytics landing starter, six-slide 16:9 quarterly report deck, and sample web photography in assets/imagery/.
