"Drops" means the source code, shaders and documentation published in the HorizonX Drops registry at horizonx.so/r, and any copy of them installed from it. "End Product" means a website, web app, mobile app, game, video, presentation or other finished work in which a Drop is one part, and whose main value comes from something other than the Drop itself.
Exception: the Elastic Mesh drop is published under the MIT License, whose full text is at the top of its engine file. This license does not apply to it.
1. What you may do
- Use, copy and modify the Drops, free of charge, in any number of End Products, for yourself or for clients, personal or commercial.
- Sell, distribute or give away End Products that contain the Drops, in source or compiled form, as long as the Drops are not offered separately from the End Product.
- Share screenshots and recordings of the Drops and of your End Products.
2. What you may not do
- Redistribute, sell, sublicense or publish the Drops, modified or not, on their own or as part of a component library, UI kit, template pack, registry, design-system package, starter kit, code generator, theme or any product whose main purpose is to let other people reuse the Drops.
- Include the Drops in a dataset used to train or fine-tune a machine learning model, or in a product that generates them on request.
- Claim you made the Drops, or remove this notice or the provenance banner at the top of each engine file.
- Use the HorizonX name or logo to suggest that HorizonX endorses your End Product.
3. Attribution
Attribution in the End Product is appreciated but not required. The notice at the top of each file must stay in the source.
4. Relationship to HorizonX plans
This license covers only the Drops. Other HorizonX tools, the variants, presets and editor exports of the same pieces, and every other asset are covered by the Terms & Conditions and the plan they were obtained under.
5. Termination
If you break this license, your rights under it end automatically. End Products you shipped before that and that complied with it may stay published.
6. No warranty
The Drops are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement. In no event shall HorizonX be liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with the Drops or their use.
